Rhonda M. Smith is a committed advocate, educator, and change agent helping to improve to healthoutcomes for the underserved and communities of color. She has consulting expertise in health disparities and in leading/managing community-based strategic Initiatives that address closing the gap in health disparities. Rhonda served as the Consultant/Statewide Project Director for the Susan G. Komen? Circle of Promise California Initiative. She currently oversees the Phase II of the Circle of Promise Initiative in Northern California to decrease breast cancer disparities and improve outcomes for underserved women and African American women in Sacramento, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties. Rhonda is also currently the Project Director for the LiveHealthy OC Initiative, a three-year initiative that aims to transform the model of care of a network of FQHCs from a disease-focused treatment model to prevention and wellness model, providing more whole person care.
