The Panel ?Creating Successful Community and Academic Partnerships: the Rodham Institute Experience? shares the mission, vision, and experience of the Rodham Institute at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. In combination with community partners, host Dr. Gigi El-Bayoumi will discuss how academics and/or academic medical centers can promote health equity by creating respectful, transparent, and equitable relationships with community partners. This panel also shows successful models of putting the community?s needs first, and how academic partners can serve as consultants to support community needs.
